You may be a miracle match for someone in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant to survive. Right now, there are many patients suffering from leukemia and other blood related diseases. To date, the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry is responsible for facilitating matches for over 2,100 patients, but many are still desperately waiting for their miracle match.
In conjunction with the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation, BKNW will be hosting a Bone Marrow Donor Drive for the Greater 5 Towns Community. Get yourself added to the registry -- it's simple, it's quick, and it's painless. YOU could be someone's miracle match.
By making a contribution to the 5 Towns Bone Marrow Drive Circle, additional donors will be registered as potential bone marrow matches for patients in need. The more donors, the better the chance of finding a match for patients waiting for life-saving bone marrow transplants.
For every $54 dollars donated, a Bone Marrow Registration kit is processed and a potential donor is added to the national registry of bone marrow donors. Any amount you can give will have an impact on our efforts.
