About

On a Sunday afternoon back in April 2002, Jill Goldsmith became a member of the Gift of Life Registry at a drive hosted at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Jill was one of 16 people tested that day. The drive was organized to find a match for the daughter of a Boca Raton resident who needed a transplant. Little did she know that just four and a half years later, she would be called as a match instead for a little boy named Matthew with a similar need for a donor. And Jill sure would change his world in BIG ways! Today, Matthew is happy and healthy, enjoying his childhood and doing all the things little boys do.

Since that time, Jill's family and friends have become very involved with Gift of Life and the mission to grow the registry. Jill's dad, Steve Geller, was honored by Gift of Life at its 2009 Partners for Life Gala for his commitment to saving lives.
