We are fundraising $18,000 this #GivingTuesday to add 300 lifesaving donors to the marrow registry.
Your generosity will benefit thousands of children and adults battling leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell and other blood cancers, who require a blood stem cell or marrow transplant in order to survive.
Approximately 70% of blood cancer patients will have to rely on the worldwide marrow registry for a volunteer donor who is a match.
Lab testing for each cheek swab kit costs $60 when a new donor joins the registry. Your donation will be used to process these kits and give hope to patients who are urgently searching for their donor.
The first $9,000 in contributions will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thanks to our generous #GivingTuesday sponsors, Michael Stoler, Foundation for Medical Evaluation & Early Detection and those who wish to remain anonymous, making your support go even further.
