At Gift of Life we believe every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life — and we are determined to make it happen. We are singularly passionate about engaging the public to help us get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, whether as a donor, a volunteer or a financial supporter. It all begins with one remarkable person, one life-changing swab and one huge win — finding a match and a cure.
Adam is a 31-year-old man in the prime of his life. He has it all: a degree in communications from the University of Southern California, a lovely wife, and three young children under the age of four. Their future is bright.
However, in July, Adam was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of blood cancer called primary myelofibrosis. The only hope for his cure is a bone marrow or blood stem cell transplant from a matching donor. Adam does not have a family member who is a match and after searching through every international database and scanning over 28 million registered donors worldwide, no match exists for him.
Adam came to us, and Gift of Life is running extensive donor drives nationwide to find a life-saving donor for him, but time is critical and the need is extremely urgent! With your help we can save Adam's life. No gift is too small, please give what you can to help Adam find his match, and for so many others in need.
Wishing you good health, happiness, peace and prosperity. Today and all through the year! L'Shanah Tova!
