Gift of Life Marrow Registry is AABB Cellular Starting Material Qualified. Facilities achieving this qualification have demonstrated their quality system meets or exceeds AABB's evidence-based standards for collection, storage, and processing of cellular starting materials.
This certificate is issued to a laboratory after an inspection to determine compliance with all applicable CLIA requirements. This certificate allows the facility to perform moderate or high complexity testing or both. The facility may also perform waived tests.
Establishments that manufactures human cells, tissue, and cellular and tissue-based products (HCT/Ps) are required by FDA regulations to register with the agency and list the establishment's HCT/Ps.
Gift of Life is GMP Certified by the European Medicines Agency, confirming compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Gift of Life's production facilities and processes meet the required quality standards for producing cellular products for use in the European Union (EU).
