Annie was born on October 8th, 2002, and lived in Livingston New Jersey where she went to Temple Beth Shalom Preschool, Mount Pleasant Elementary School, and Graduated from Livingston High School in 2021. She then made her way to Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Public Communications, aspiring to build a career in public relations. Along the way, she made an abundance of friends who remember her for her smile, witty sense of humor, and contagious laugh.
Outside of School, Annie's home for seven summers was Camp Lokanda in GlenSpey, NewYork where she built friendships that were like sisters. She also loved to dance, spending 14 years at Michele's Dance studio, and was a member of their competition dance team. Annie had an active social life, enjoying parties, trendy restaurants, watching rom-coms and never passing up a great dessert. She was obsessed with reality TV and all things pop culture and filled her free time watching, listening to podcasts, and reading articles about it.
Annie was an active member of every community she was a part of. At LHS, she was incredibly proud to be a cast member of AM Wired, the daily TV broadcast at School. Most recently, she was a member of the Sigma Delta Tau Sorority, PR director of Fetch Collective Magazine at Syracuse University; a member of Women in Communications and Public Relations Student Society of America; a Newhouse ambassador, and a DJ on the Syracuse Univeristy radio station, among other things.
After having 2 bone marrow transplants, Annie knew the importance of finding matches and how hard it was for some people to find one. Because of this, she was exceptionally proud to be a Gift of Life Campus Ambassador at Syracuse University, encouraging students to join the bone marrow registry. She was so happy to work with Gift of Life and help fulfill this critical mission. Our family, partnered with our friends, are committed to carrying on this work to honor Annie’s memory and would love for you to join Annie's Army.
