Hi! I'm competing in the Westchester Kids Triathlon on September 22nd. I want to raise money for my cousin Ezra and for Gift of Life which helps people who need bone marrow transplants.
Ezra Jordan Fineman (Ezra Aviel ben Hertzelia Shandel) is 3 years old. He loves basketball, music and space shuttles. He also has a rare primary immune deficiency called Hyper IgM Syndrome. Ezra underwent an umbilical cord blood stem cell transplant on May 17, 2012, in hopes of curing this condition. No suitable bone marrow donor was found for him. It is unclear if the transplant is working. If he needs another transplant, he will need to find a donor.
