Dear Friends,
Earlier this year as the pandemic began, I was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia – T-Cell PLL (T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia). Over the last few months, I've been receiving targeted chemotherapy that has brought me into remission. I'm so lucky that I made it this far!
Now, I have just a few months to get a bone marrow or blood stem cell transplant, which is the only chance for a cure. Unfortunately, we've recently found out that the one perfect match in my family is likely not an option as we thought.
