UNH Gift of Life raises awareness for the bone marrow donation process. In collaboration with the Gift of Life, one of the nation's public bone marrow and blood stem cell registries, UNH Gift of Life organizes events, campaigns, trainings, and seminars to register new potential donors, raise monetary funds, and educate the community about the bone marrow donation process. UNH Gift of Life is dedicated to expanding the bone marrow registry and supporting those who have been affected by the cancer experience. UNH Gift of Life runs cheek swab drives on campus to give students the opportunity to quickly and easily join the national public bone marrow registry. We also fundraise to off-set the $60 processing fee that each swab kit requires. Our goal is to add 1,000+ students to the registry and to raise $1,000 each year.
