Thanks for joining Seth’s Donor Circle. Seth was diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in July 2016. After many rounds of chemotherapy and a splenectomy (spleen removal), his disease persists.
Seth needs a stem cell transplant and he needs your help.
Seth is searching for a stem cell donor. He is an only child. His best hope for a match is a donor who shares his ethnic background as an Ashkenazi Jew. He needs a donor 18-45 years old.
Three ways you can help
If you are of Eastern European Jewish descent and 18-45, please consider being tested to see if you are a match. Click on “Get Swabbed” at the top of this page and register to receive a free cheek swab kit. It takes only a few minutes to swab the inside of your cheek and send it back.
If you don’t share Seth’s ethnic background or are over 45 (or both), please consider a donation to fund processing a swab kit from a potential donor. The Gift of Life Registry has over 10,000 unprocessed kits from eligible donors who are ready to enter the registry. A donation of $60 pays to process one kit. Any one of those unprocessed kits could be Seth’s match.

Please encourage friends and family in Israel to visit this page. Although they can’t register as a donors through Gift of Life, they can join the Israeli registry, Ezer Mizion, if they are not already registered. (Since 2005, all Israeli army recruits are automatically entered into the Ezer Mizion registry.) Seth’s tissue is being compared with donors worldwide and so far his closest matches have been Israeli donors.
