Help Honor Ancil

Please help us honor Ancil and his commitment to helping others, as a pharmacist, a university professor, and a man of strong faith.

By completing a swab kit, you can join the registry for your chance to save someone's life.

Ancil was a 39-year-old husband and father of three children ages who had a fulfilling career as a Pharmacist. He was diagnosed with Hepatosplenic T-cell Lymphoma, a type of cancer that is extremely rare, comprising less than 5% of all lymphoma cases worldwide.

Unfortunately, 71% of Black patients do not have a viable match in the worldwide registry. You can honor Ancil's memory by joining the registry for your chance to save a life. All it takes is a swab of your cheek to find out if you are a match for a patient in need. We inherit the matching factors from our parents and ancestors, similar to how hair and eye color is passed down.

If you have Black or African-American ancestry, please join the registry today.

More about Ancil

Ancil was a proud alumnus of Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he earned both his undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. He also taught at FAMU, and was a sponsor of the Black Men in Medicine chapter at the university.

Ancil was a man of deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and sought to live out that faith in the way he loved and served others.

Ancil enjoyed spending time with his wife Natalie, their family and friends, playing video games, working out, walking his two dogs, and attending sporting events.
