Are you Broeden’s lifesaving match? Order your swab kit and find out if you’re his hero!
Broeden is a 17-year-old high school student in Boston who loves riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, and biking with his friends. But on December 22, 2025, Broden’s mom Kerynn took him to the doctor to investigate why he was experiencing weakness and body pain. His blood counts were dangerously low, and he was immediately admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital.
There he received the worst possible news – he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and started on chemotherapy.
To defeat AML and recover his health, Broeden needs a peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) or marrow transplant from a donor who is a genetic match to his tissue type. Unfortunately, he does not have a viable matching donor in the worldwide registry.
That’s where you come in! You could be Broeden’s lifesaving hero without even knowing it. All it takes is a swab of your cheek to find out if you are a match for him or another patient in need.
If you are 18 – 35 and in general good health, please join the registry today!
Our goal is to help Broeden beat this diagnosis and get him back to normal life.
