Six months ago, I had the privilege to donate stem cells to a 64-year-old man struggling with Lymphoma. After the donation, I joined the Gift of Life Young Professionals Committee (YPC) and am now working to encourage young people to join the registry. Donating felt like just the first step. There’s so much more we can do.
I share this with you because you too have the ability to help save a life. All you have to do is swab your cheek with a Q-tip. The Q-tip then gets sent to a lab where your genetic information will be entered into a national database designed to help cancer patients find their potentially life saving partner.
This summer, the Gift of Life YPC is launching its first "swab-a-thon" campaign. Our mission is simple: to register 350 new potential donors and to raise enough money to cover each and every one (each kit costs $54 to process). With your help, I know we can far exceed that number.
How can you help save a life? By donating (even $5 helps), by swabbing, or by encouraging your friends to swab.

Thanks for your support!
