As many of you know, my family and I lost my mom 6.5 years ago to leukemia.  Bone marrow transplants are often very successful as a cure, if the person is able to receive the transplant.  The closer the match, the more chances the transplant will be successful. 

Unfortunately, there are many people in our communities in search of a match for a bone marrow transplant including a one year old girl in NYC.  It has recently come to our attention, however, that thousands of swabs are being collected, but unable to be processed.  It cost $54/swab. 

Any amount of contribution can help.  Please help this great foundation in finding matching bone marrow for those in need.  If you aren't in the registry yet, please consider entering and paying for your swab to ensure it's processing.
