On Dec 9th, I will be cutting off 10 inches of hair to donate to children with cancer. I am collecting pledges and donations for the Gift of Life.
In the beginning of the summer, I was contacted by the Gift of Life about being a potential match for a 25 year old woman in the New York area, who had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Initially, I was terrified to begin going through the process, but I came to the decision that I wanted to be able to help this woman. I went to a clinic to give blood, and it was sent in for testing. 2 months later, I received a call from the Gift of Life that the woman had passed away. This woman?s death affected me in a way that I could never imagine. I want to give back to Gift of Life for the amazing work that they do, in memory of the 25 year old woman. Please help to make donations for this worthy cause!
