Some people are lucky enough to be real-life heroes and get to save a life by donating bone marrow....while others happen to be married to them (that would be me!)

On Nov 4th, 2012 I will be running the NYC Marathon for the third time, and after seeing first-hand what a wonderful organization Gift of Life is, I decided to run in support of it.

Gift of Life is a leading bone marrow, blood stem cell, and umbilical cord blood registry that finds matching donors for patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, other cancers and genetic disorders. Your tax-deductible donation is used to add new donors to the worldwide bone marrow registry. For every $54 raised, one donor is entered into the registry.
