Matthew Bravo

Matthew, an undergraduate at the University of Florida, a proud member of Delta Chi Fraternity, and an active participant in Student Government, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after experiencing persistent fatigue and swollen lymph nodes. For many patients, including Matthew, the only true cure for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is a stem cell transplant.

Now, Matthew is calling on college students everywhere to step up by joining the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. By simply swabbing your cheek, you could be the match a patient is waiting for—the one who gives someone a second chance at life.

If your organization is interested in hosting a donor drive on your campus, please contact Traci at tackerman@giftoflife.org. Hosting a donor drive is simple, fun, free, and incredibly impactful.

As of November 2025, the following organizations have hosted a Swab for Bravo donor drive:
• Delta Chi at UF
• Delta Chi at Delaware
• AEPi at Pitt
• Delta Chi at Lehigh
• Men’s Lacrosse at UF
• Flagler College Greek Life
• Delta Chi at Louisiana Tech
• Men’s Ice Hockey at UF
• Delta Chi at Michigan State
• Kappa Sigma at FAU

Add your organization to the list today and help give patients like Matthew a fighting chance!
