Every day, patients battling blood cancer count on us to ensure they get the transplants they need, when they need them.
That’s why we have rigorous policies in place to ensure continuity of our life-saving services in situations like the coronavirus pandemic. Much of this happens behind the scenes, without you even knowing it. And that’s the reason for this message.
We are now being asked to do our part during this crisis by increasing the number of stem cell collections we perform. This is all happening at our state-of-the-art Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Gift of Life–Be The Match Collection Center. We are also working to overcome global travel restrictions to ensure critical transplants are not delayed.
All of this costs money. But it’s absolutely necessary to ensure our success for the patients who count on us.
Please do what you can. All gifts – no matter how large or small – will make a difference.
