Hello! I am Brennan and I am 31 years old, living in Los Angeles, and was diagnosed with a rare type of leukemia in 2020.

 To defeat this disease, I need a stem cell transplant from a donor who shares my same tissue type. Unfortunately, I do not currently have a viable match in the worldwide registry.

You could be my lifesaving donor without even knowing it! Ancestry plays a crucial role in finding a match, so my family is working with a nonprofit called Marrow Mates to reach out to my genetic relatives to spread the word.

 All you have to do to find out if you are my match is swab your cheek. If you are a match, the stem cell donation is as simple as a long blood draw. All it takes is to swab the inside of your cheek with a cotton swab. When you register, Marrow Mates will send you the swab kit.  That’s all it takes!
