Julian is only 6 years old, and he urgently needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life.

His parents were worried when Julian’s health started to fail shortly after his first birthday. He was diagnosed with Dyskeratosis congenita, also known as Zinsser-Engman-Cole syndrome, a genetic condition that causes bone marrow failure – an inability to produce blood cells.

The only cure for Julian is a bone marrow transplant, but there currently is no match for him among the 25 million of people in the worldwide marrow registry. We believe Julian’s match is out there just waiting to be found – it could even be you!

The factors used to match donors to recipients are inherited, like hair and eye color, so Julian’s best chance of a match is with someone of Hispanic ancestry.
