Sami is a beautiful eight-year-old little girl who is a self-proclaimed princess. A cowgirl. A karate kid. And a tutu-wearing-chicken-farming ruler of the roost! Sami's also a loving daughter, a proud sister, and an outgoing friend. She's a firecracker with a personality far bigger than her frame. And she has a huge obsession with a Firework named Katy Perry.
Sami is certainly a rarity among little girls, all the way down to her illness—a fatal blood disorder called Fanconi anemia that's only found in one out of every 350,000 people. Luckily it's treatable, but there is only one way to save her life: a bone marrow transplant. Currently there are NO matches for Sami.
