
Yuna , is an 11-year-old Chinese/Korean girl diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia (AA) in December 2023. AA is a rare blood disorder where the bone marrow fails to produce blood cells.
There are countless number of patients who suffer from AA and other similar maladies who count on gracious and generous donors working through marrow registries like Gift of Life to provide life-saving bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplants.
