Gift of Life Marrow Registry is a nonprofit organization dedicated to curing blood cancer through cellular therapy. By matching volunteer donors with patients in need of bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell transplants, Gift of Life provides hope where there often is none.
Every three minutes, someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukemia or lymphona. For many of these patients, a stem cell or bone marrow transplant is the only cure. Because a patient’s chance of finding a matching donor is determined by genetic factors, the search can be complex and deeply personal. Gift of Life’s mission is to ensure that every patient, regardless of background, has an equal opportunity to find their lifesaving match.
Since its founding, Gift of Life has facilitated thousands of transplants worldwide, adding millions of donors to the registry and connecting selfless individuals willing to donate their stem cells to patients they may never meet. Each donation represents the ultimate act of giving — a second chance at life.
