Allison Micale signed up for a bone marrow and blood stem cell donor registry in 2021 when a registry organization visited her sorority chapter at the University of Miami. Then, in February of her senior year...Micale received life-changing news: she was a match for a woman battling leukemia.
One morning a few months ago, Sam Shulman (JKHA ‘15/RKYHS ‘19) saw an email in his inbox from the Gift of Life Registry. Intrigued, he opened it and to his surprise, he read that he had matched as a stem cell donor.
Gift of Life Campus Ambassador Leah Bregman was honored as a 2024 Senior Marshal at the University of Maryland. Marshals are given the honor of representing their schools and colleges in the commencement ceremony.
