When Jay Feinberg was diagnosed with leukemia, he was told he would need a bone marrow transplant to survive. His journey to find a genetic match led him to establish Gift of Life, an updated international public bone marrow and blood stem cell registry, since the already existing registry was not representative of all ethnic groups, and there was an urgent need to add diversity.
