The Florida Mayhem, through parent company Misfits Gaming, has announced a partnership with the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. To help fight blood cancer, Gift of Life registers volunteer bone marrow and stem cell donors.

North American organisation Misfits Gaming and its Overwatch League franchise Florida Mayhem have partnered with cancer charity Gift of Life. The partnership will see both Misfits and Florida Mayhem work with the charity to educate their fans, through social media and at live events, in an effort to recruit new marrow and stem cell donors at tournaments.

Misfits Gaming, which owns Miami-based Overwatch League team the Florida Mayhem, will work with Gift of Life to educate the public and recruit new marrow and stem cell donors at tournaments and gaming events.

Misfits Gaming are excited to announce our partnership with Gift of Life Marrow Registry to fight blood cancer. Gift of Life registers volunteer bone marrow and stem cell donors to help cure leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell, and nearly 100 other diseases through transplantation. Misfits Gaming and the Florida Mayhem, will work with Gift of Life to educate the public and recruit new marrow and stem cell donors at tournaments and gaming events.

An Iowa mother of three who battled lymphoma met her life-saving blood stem cell donor during Gift of Life Marrow Registry's Campus Ambassador Symposium this past week at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center. In a surprise encounter arranged by Gift of Life Marrow Registry, Lisa Dunbar, 50, of Treynor, Iowa, met Sean Conklin, 27, of Delray Beach, Fla. on Sunday night during the Gift of Life event.
