Swab-a-Cheek, Save-a-Life, an independently funded campaign of the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation, is assembling “Team Swab-a-Cheek,” to run in this year’s Marine Corps Marathon and 10K Road Race, and we’d like you to help!
The event will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2009, along a historic route in Washington, DC. Each runner is asked to raise a minimum of $500 by September 30, 2009. There is a Marine Corps Marathon registration fee of $45 for the 10K Road Race and $88 to register for the marathon. Included is access to a user-friendly webpage, a cyber coach, runner’s tank top, and pep rally and party the night before the race. All it takes is 20 donations of $25 each and there are prizes for the top fundraisers.
If you have already registered for the Marine Corps Marathon or 10K Road Race, but would like to be a part of Team Swab-a-Cheek, please contact Lisa at
