Save the Date for the 2nd Annual Walk for Life

Save the Date for Gift of Life’s second annual Walk for Life, being held on February 12, 2012 at Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Raton campus. The Walk for Life will raise awareness in our community about the need for an ethnically diverse pool of volunteer bone marrow donors, while also recruiting new donors to join the worldwide bone marrow registry. Last year’s walk raised over $70,000 and has already helped find a life-saving match for a patient in need.
For more than 15 years, Gift of Life has been dedicated to saving lives by facilitating bone marrow, blood stem cell and umbilical cord blood transplants for children and adults suffering from life threatening illnesses. Gift of Life determinedly strives to raise awareness and educate the public about joining the registry and the bone marrow donation process.
