Art of Tea, an award-winning tea importer and wholesaler, is partnering with Gift of Life Marrow Registry for the ninth year to make "Matches through Matcha." Five percent of all Ceremonial Grade Matcha Tea sales between March 1 and May 30 will be donated to Gift of Life, including both the 40-gram and 80-gram tins.
Art of Tea’s support helps us process incoming swab kits from new donors to find matches for patients fighting blood cancer, inherited immune diseases, sickle cell and more than 75 other conditions.
Donors who match with a patient have the opportunity to provide lifesaving blood stem cell or marrow transplants. In many cases, this is the only cure for these diseases.

Art of Tea, headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif., is famous for its unique specialty tea selections, which use ingredients sourced from farmers on every continent. For more than 1,000 years, matcha, a powdered green tea, has been served throughout Eastern Asia and is now highly popular in the United States thanks to its fresh flavor and healthful qualities – studies have shown it helps decrease stress and reduce inflammation*.
Traditionally, matcha is beaten to a froth in a ceramic tea bowl using hot water and a bamboo whisk. Art of Tea offers several varieties of matcha, as well as a full line of accessories and tips on how to prepare it at home.
