Your support of Gift of Life's Steps for Life Virtual 5k matters now more than ever. You can complete the Steps for Life Virtual 5k from any location and at any time! Run, jog or walk on the road, trail, or treadmill. Participate in your own race and at your own pace!

- Virtual Kick-off: Sunday, September 15, 2024 at noon ET on our Facebook page
- Online Registration closes: Monday, September 30, 2024 at noon ET
- Race Course: Anytime! Anywhere!
- Submit Times by: Monday, September 30, 2024 at noon ET
- Closing Ceremony: Monday, September 30, 2024 at 7 PM ET on our Facebook page
Event Costs
- $30 - Registration
- $40 - Registration - includes a branded Gift of Life race shirt (cost of domestic shipping is included)
- $60 - Registration - includes a Gift of Life branded race shirt (cost of domestic shipping is included) plus sponsors one Swab Kit to add a new donor to our registry.
Steps to Participate
Step 1: Register to Participate
- Now through Monday, September 30, 2024 at noon ET (Register here)
- Shirts will be sent out in batches beginning in early September
- Registration includes Gift of Life swag, depending on level, and the ability to enter to win great fundraising prizes!
Step 2: Fundraise & Train
- Once you've registered, start fundraising!
- Set up either a personal or team fundraising page to share with your friends and family via email and social media to raise money for Gift of Life.
- Check out the Fundraising tab to see the prizes you can earn as you fundraise!
- Fundraising prizes will be mailed to your registered mailing address in October 2024.
Step 3: Run & Join the Fun!
- We will have a Virtual Kickoff on our Facebook page on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at noon ET.
- Run, jog, or walk to complete your 5K between now and Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11AM ET.
- Submit your time to events@giftoflife.org to be eligible for an exclusive Top Finisher medal.
- Deadline to submit is Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11AM ET.
- We will have a Closing Ceremony on our Facebook page. Monday, September 30, 2024 at 12PM ET.
