Summary Statement

The Donor Services Kit Maker will assemble blood draw kits for specialists and coordinators for upcoming stem cell donor blood draws.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
• Assists Director of Donor Services and performs tasks as assigned
• Follows up on all items until work has been completed
• Manage donor services fax/email mailbox inbox and distribute to the correct team or individual
• Posts new stem cell donor Work-Ups in Gift of Life's proprietary in-house software system, MatchQuest, and forwards to team members
• Documents all procedures and workflows and recommends process improvement
• Assists with inventory and ordering supplies for the department
• Sends any certified USPS letters to Donors
• Creates shipping labels via FedEx
• Other Donor Center projects as assigned

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, phone etiquette and sense of business protocol
• Experience with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel

• Prioritization of daily work flow
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team setting

Physical Demands

This position is basically sedentary with some walking, standing, stooping, and lifting required. May lift objects weighing from 0 to 20 lbs. with occasional lifting of objects over 20 lbs. Travel may be required for shipping packages at distribution centers.
