Summary Statement
As a Partnership Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving our mission forward by building relationships, organizing impactful events, and engaging passionate volunteers and students in our life-saving work. You’ll have the opportunity to travel nationwide to inspire action and lead initiatives that grow our registry, particularly through partnerships with collegiate organizations and student-led groups.

Responsibilities
- Lead national partnership efforts to raise awareness of blood cancer and the power of stem cell and marrow donation.
- Inspire and educate potential donors, volunteers, and campus communities about their role in saving lives.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to expand our reach and impact.
- Organize and lead stem cell/marrow registration drives and awareness events across the country.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with student organizations, including Greek life, honor societies, and service clubs.
- Deliver compelling presentations to educate communities and encourage donor participation.
- Support donor recruitment initiatives through creative marketing and outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create educational resources and improve program effectiveness.
- Track and analyze program success, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement and outcomes.
- Assist in coordinating logistics, promotion, and volunteer support for events and drives.
- Partner with community groups to broaden awareness and increase registry participation.
- Act as a brand ambassador and advocate for Gift of Life’s mission.
- Follow through consistently on promises to build credibility and trust

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in public speaking and community outreach.
- Strong background in program development and volunteer engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with collegiate organizations (e.g., Greek Life, student governments, service clubs) is a big plus.
- Passion for making a difference—and no hesitation in picking up the phone to make it happen.
- Background in communications, public health, nonprofit, or related fields is a bonus.
Physical Demands
This position is basically sedentary with some walking, standing, stooping, and occasional lifting required (up to 20 lbs.) may be required during events and travel.
