Rachel worked hard as a firefighter, paramedic, emergency room physician's assistant and member of a FEMA disaster medical assistance team to help those in need.

Rachel also tried to save lives by being on the bone marrow donor registery. The registery provides children and adults who are sick with leukemia or lymphoma a chance to recover.
