Run4Life Jerusalem Marathon 2014

Come and join Team Gift of Life in our inaugural Jerusalem Marathon Run4Life on Friday March 21st, 2014. Help increase the number of  bone marrow donors in the registry and give the hope of a cure to leukemia and lymphoma patients, as well as others who suffer from life threatening cancers and genetic diseases.

 
The Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry primarily recruits donors from the Jewish community. A person’s HLA tissue type is genetic and so a patient’s main chance of finding a match is from donors with a shared ethnic heritage.
 
There has been tremendous progress in finding matches for patients in need but there are still people who do not have a miracle match to save their life. Gift of Life works tirelessly to fulfill its mission: A match, anytime, anywhere, for anyone.
 
Gift of Life recruits thousands of new donors each year and we need funds to test samples before the donors can be activated in the registry. It costs $60 per test and 100% of what we raise from your sponsorship will go towards testing new donors.
