#SwabAtYourJob: We will organize an on-site donor recruitment drive at one or all of your firm’s locations. Your staff has the opportunity to save someone’s life by simply swabbing their cheek and joining the registry. See below for more details.
Annual Health Check or Wellness Day: We can participate in your annual wellness day program to educate your staff about how they can become someone’s hero and offer them the chance to join the registry. We provide all training and materials.
Lunch and Learn: We provide the lunches and the educator (possibly a donor or recipient to share their experience), and your team learns how easy it is to save someone’s life, the importance of growing the registry’s genetic diversity, and how they can help.
Corporate Sponsorships: Gift of Life hosts events across the United States each year and high-visibility sponsorships are a great way to show the community that you’re committed to saving lives. Giving your employees the chance to join the registry is a great way to show your company’s support for those in your community who are battling blood cancer, sickle cell, inherited immune disorders, and related diseases.
Many life-threatening conditions can be cured through the miracle of blood stem cell transplants. Donating is a simple outpatient procedure similar to donating plasma or platelets. More than 90% of today’s donations are for blood stem cells, and less than 10% are for marrow, usually requested for infants and children.
