Gift of Life’s 12th Annual Partner for Life Gala will take place on Thursday, May 17th, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt New York. An incredible evening which will celebrate twenty-one years of saving lives by uniting transplant recipients and their life-saving donors while honoring its volunteers and financial supporters.
Recognizing The Maccabeats.
The a capella group, the Maccabeats, partnered with Gift of Life to help save lives. After learning of a need for funding of thousands of swab kits on a waitlist, the Judy Greenberg z"l Miracle Match Campaign was launched with a hope of raising $10,000 for each night of Hannukah. By the end of Hannukah the Maccabeats surpassed their goal of $80,000 and are continuing their campaign. Please join us as we pay tribute to these outstanding men who understand that music and message can create miracles.
Please join Gift of Life and Emcee, Actress Mayim Bialik. Mayim is best known for her lead role in the early-1990s NBC television sitcom “Blossom”. Recent appearances include her critically acclaimed role as Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS Chuck Lorre hit “The Big Bang Theory”. She is also author of “Beyond the Sling”.
