Gift of Life Named as Charity Partner for Boca Raton Event

Gift of Life has been selected as one of 11 charity partners for the 2nd Annual Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival, taking place on November 11 and 12, 2011. Headquartered in Boca Raton, Gift of Life is committed to helping children and adults suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood related illnesses find donors for bone marrow, blood stem cell, and cord blood transplants.
“Gift of Life is always looking for ways to be involved with the community and raise awareness about our mission to save lives.” said Marti Freund, Development Associate at Gift of Life, “The Wine and Food festival is the largest culinary affair in south Florida and we are thrilled to be the beneficiary of tickets sold through our Organization for this exciting event.”
The 2nd Annual Wine and Food Festival will celebrate 70 chefs from the tri-county area. There will be live cooking demonstrations, tasting classes presented by the Festival Sommelier, farmers market, outdoor art gallery, and live entertainment.

Ticket information: $85 for the Grand Tasting, Saturday, November 12; $175 for both Friday, November 11, VIP “Under the Stars” dinner and Saturday’s Grand Tasting. Pre-sale tickets are available now.
